The brewer consists of a translucent cylindrical chamber (BPA-free plastic), and a plunger with an airtight silicone seal, similar to a syringe. A filter cap is screwed onto the end, to hold a small round filter (either paper or metal) in place. 

The AeroPress is a consistent way of making great coffee around 250ml (8oz) of coffee per serving and is very useful for travelling or for workplace breaks. You can also make a stronger coffee solution and dilute it. Whichever way you choose, it takes less than a few minutes to make a delicious cup of coffee and is easy to clean.
